thepeopleprotest.com is a website exploring the limitations of protest language. Political issues are chosen by the user, framed as simple binaries which are then aggregated into a database. The responses in the database are displayed together as many layers on a t-shirt, resulting in more popular terms becoming clearer than the rest. This t-shirt was available for sale, along with eleven others, as part of a fully-funded kickstarter campaign that distributed these wearables with other ephemera as kits to begin a year of protest for 2017.
