Aural Tracing (ongoing)
Aural Tracing (working title) is an ongoing research project continuing the work done for Acoustic Scan. In this project the ultrasound refracted from the “scan” the walls, ceilings, and corners of rooms and passageways is captured by a microphone attached to the steered transducer. The sound is then analyzed and traced on paper by a drawing machine creating an aural map of the space.
