Biography
B.F.A., Digital Arts and Experimental Media, 2009
Michael McCrea is currently a Research Scientist for the Center for Digital Art and Experimental Media (DXARTS), focusing on the development and artistic application of hyper-directional ultrasonic sound emitters. Michael also maintains the sound lab among the various other DXARTS labs on the University of Washington campus as a member of the technical staff. He received his BFA from DXARTS in 2009 with an emphasis on spatial sound, sensing and control systems, and performance.
