Summer Internship with ViiVAI Labs and CoMotion Makerspace

Using IMU-based motion recognition, Python pipelines, and real-time integration with TouchDesigner and SuperCollider, I designed a wand interface that lets users cast spells through gestures while experiencing synchronized visuals, sounds, and tactile feedback.
Rose Xu, ViiVAI Labs. Interactive Haptics Demos at the Intersection of Sensor Technology and Embodied Design. CoMotion Makerspace, University of Washington, Summer 2025.

I collaborated with ViiVAI Labs and Studio at the UW CoMotion on prototyping interactive haptic demos. My contributions included integrating sensor-driven input, flexible electronics, and real-time feedback systems to explore novel applications of haptic technology in creative and research contexts.
