“The kitten is scratching me” is an audio visual performance. The performance visuals are digitally generated and controlled in real time by the performer and audio signal that is created by the performance audio artist. The visuals consisted out of a circle, rectangular shape that was made out of smaller squares and a background that was created with a help of a web camera and hands. The circle was used as contrast for the file cabinet that was standing on the stage and it connected much more to the sounds that we could hear around the space. In second part of performance visuals turn to rectangular shape that filled full screen. All the small squares that made rectangular shape were creating line patterns by their alignment in space. With this rectangular form I tried to emphasize not the file cabinets shape, but the idea and use of it.
