How to use 3D printer


     - Using Mac, open Simplify3D on the computer to the right of the 3D printers.

     - Import the STL file, using the Import button at the left (or File/Import Models). Note that your STL file may appear as a “MakerWare File”.

     - In the Auto Scale Option box, click on Yes.

     - Center and Arrange the object using the button at left. Inspect the object on the screen to be sure it is oriented properly -- centered and on the build plane. To manually adjust the object location, double click on the object and adjust using the controls on the right.

     - Double-click Process1.

          * To print using PLA, set Select Profile to REP DUAL (DEFAULT) 20% R PLA. Press OK
          * To print using ABS, set Select Profile to REP 2X (DEFAULT) 20% L ABS. Press OK

     - Click on Prepare to Print! (at the bottom, left). Review the Build Statistics at top left.

     - Remove the SDHC card from the Replicator and insert it into the computer.

     - Press "Save Toolpaths to Disk" (at bottom, left) and save your object to the SDHC card. (Use an abbreviated name; fifteen characters or less.

     - Eject the SDHC card and move it back to the Replicator.

     - Print your object.
