Description of a system using 8 Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 USB web cams. Linux based workflow using open source (mostly cross platform) tools. Mainly uses panotools. Takes about 8 seconds to capture from all 8 cameras, and 15 minutes to stitch one frame.

Complete all-in-one system, which can run in real time. Uses a single Sony Bloggie with a special catadioptric reflector lens. Has openframeworks and processing projects to remap the image into a rectilinear image. Still image resolutions up to3360×512. Requires an analog capture card.

Blog detailing experiments with creating a DIY panoramic video setup. Uses panotools, and 4-5 GoPro HD cameras to produce 7500x3750 images.
