DXARTS Ph.D. student, Chari Glogovac-Smith receives a 2022 New York Emmy® nomination for their piece "Identity". The piece was composed in 2018, and was officially recorded in 2020 to be featured as the finale accompaniment for WILD, a ballet by New York based ballet company, The Black Iris Project. Chari's nomination for composition and arrangement is one of the eight nominations the ballet received. The New York Emmy® Awards will take place on October 8th. The awards show will also be streaming live, in its entirety, online on the New York Emmy® Awards website www.nyemmys.org and on Facebook Live at @NYEmmyAwards beginning at 3:30 PM for the Creative Arts Ceremony and at 7:15 PM for the remainder of the show.
