Pre-concert conversation with composer Ewa Trębacz (DXARTS) and co-artistic director Jérémy Jolley * (SMO) at 7:30 PM  | Music starts at 8:00 PM

Seattle Modern Orchestra in partnership with DXARTS present an evening of electronic music, with three works from three different generations and three stages of technological development. The ensemble includes several Alumni and Graduate Students from the University of Washington School of Music and DXARTS. 

PROGRAM: 

Luciano Berio - Differences for flute, clarinet, harp, viola, cello and tape (1959) 

Ewa Trębacz * - Ligeia for invisible soprano, ensemble, and surround sound (2016) 

Kaija Saariaho - Lichtbogen for nine instruments and live electronics (1986)
