Gentle introduction to EEG, a workshop by DXARTS Ph.D. candidate Haein Kang, will be conducted in ISEA2019  (International Symposium on Electronic Art), June 22-28 at Gwangju, Korea.

The workshop consists of a lecture and a practice and aims to understand the principle of brain waves and experience a brain-computer interface. The lecture is about three questions: What is EEG? Can we say that neural activity represents our consciousness? How can brain waves be used to control computer systems? 
Workshop participants can observe their brain waves and experience brain-computer interfaces using OpenBCI systems.
