"Ocean" is an exploration of the submarine sound environment, a performative action on a ship, a set of streaming radio broadcasts, recording and publication of the soundscape under the sea, a mobile and ephemeral pirate radio, a journey through the sea of ​​Chiloé For a week the craft bark Quento was a place for home and laboratory for the capture and live transmission of the marine and submarine soundscape of the Chiloé archipelago. With daily and nightly transmissions, sound landscapes of the sea, birds, machinery and boats, salmon factories, underwater crustaceans, human and animal activities, sunset, and also conversations, interviews with inhabitants of the islands and concerts were broadcast of traditional music for accordion and guitar. Océano is a project created and made with Fernando Godoy, and with Carlos Lertora in the audiovisual realization. The project also considers an exhibition that will be held in 3 areas of Chile during 2019.
