Anderson has been invited to perform his classic Loch Lomond as part of the 39th International Acousmatic Festival L'Espace du Son [musiques-recherches.be], in Brussels, Belgium, celebrating Musiques & Recherches [musiques-recherches.be]’ 40 years of acousmatic music research, creation and performance. Loch Lomond will be performed (spatially ‘diffused’) on l’acousmonium M&R, an “orchestra” of 80 loudspeakers.
“My late 20th century fancy on fragments of recordings of an early 20th century arrangement of a Jacobite adaptation of an 18th century erotic song. I might also add, this is my more frantic version of Paul Lansky’s Six Fantasies on a Poem by Thomas Campion, and a bit of a shake out of American Serialism....”
