The Henry Art Gallery is the University of Washington's Art Museum. Founded in 1927, it is the only museum dedicated to contemporary art in the region. Located on the west edge of the university's campus along 15th Avenue N.E. in the University District, it was founded in 1927 and was the first public art museum in Washington.
The DXARTS main office has moved online through the Spring quarter. Remote advising appointments can be made by contacting dxarts@uw.edu Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Our Raitt Hall and McMahon Hall facilities will remain closed until further notice. Our equipment checkout and training are suspended until further notice.
